Software Testing Policy

Purpose of the Software Testing Policy is to describe all the required (“rules”) and optional (“recommendations”) elements which have to be covered during any project implementation during:

a. the preparation of Test Plan documents

b. the execution of actual Test Plans

It consists of concepts and practices that have been identified important in order to ensure the objective of thoroughness of information system testing during initial implementation and subsequent functional and non-functional evolution.

In addition to definition of testing phase as a separate activity, this document contains recommendations related to the integration of testing process throughout the entire software development process, in order also to reduce as much as possible the costs incurred with bug fixing at a later stage in the project.
